A little bit about Chris…
A native Minnesotan for all of his childhood, Chris made the revelation that he should try this radio thing out after seeing a commercial for a radio school (Brown Institute, Mpls, MN) at 2:30 am in his dorm room at college (which he was failing at the time). He packed up everything he owned and moved the next day. He started at a station in St. Cloud, MN doing nights where he was affectionately known as “Lackey Boy”. He was then recruited by a station in Tallahassee, FL and after a couple of years the recruiting call came once again . . . this time from the desert . . . Phoenix, AZ. He continued his night jock journey for another two years when he decided it was time to make the move to mornings and also go back to his grown-up name “Chris Parker”. He now lives with his wife Melisa and their two dogs in Phoenix, AZ and also fronts the seven piece band the Chris Parker Project.
